We stayed in cottage 9. Clean and cozy old school cabin. Great property with lake access and super convenient location on the Peninsula. We hope to visit again soon!
Booked a room last minute to stay in Ashland for a new job training. Absolutely loved the little cottage. Way more space than we expected for the price and was amazing to be able to have our dog there to play in the snow. Absolutely would go again.
Very cool place!! We stayed in cottage 5 and its beatiful! The 2 beaches are very nice. Each cottage has its own fire pit and charcoal grill. They even provide firewood! The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, mixing bowls, dinnerware, even pizza pans! The bed is super comfortable. And you cannot beat the prices to rent out your own little cabin! Highly recommend for weekend getaway or even long term. Oh.. and the owners left us a tub of ice cream in the freezer ... from a local shop... :)
Wow! What a find! We'd been on the road for days and wanted to find somewhere for our last night out but didn't want to do the motel thing. Started looking online and came across "Mission Springs Resort". We thought we'd give it a try - we are sure glad we did! Within 30 minutes of finding them online, we were unpacking in the beautiful and immaculate Cabin #5! Clean, quiet, spacious, and a comfortable bed made this a nice night to wrap up a great road trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Our family of 5 stayed in cottage 4. The resort grounds are immaculately kept and the service is AMAZING! Every question was answered quickly. We arrived to fresh local ice cream in the freezer (the kids loved that touch!). We enjoyed both of the beach areas on the property. The views from the beaches are very pretty! Beds are comfortable and the cottage is well stocked. They also reached out to let us know we forgot an item and offered to mail it to us! Overall this is a great, comfortable, quiet and well run place to stay for a family getaway.
This was our first stay, but will not be the last. Cabin 5 was totally remodeled (or newly built). It had all the appointments you would expect from a 5-star hotel or high end AirBNB. We took the advise and booked directly through their website and saved a few dollars off Hotels.com. The beach area was small, but clean. It was very quiet, except for some road noise, but it was not disturbing. And inside you could not hear anything. I liked the option to text the manager, but we did not need anything. Beautiful shower BTW.
Absolutely delightful stay in all ways! We stayed in the Lake House and it was so very lovely and well appointed with everything we needed. A large kitchen and dining room and lovely TV room. Games, comfortable beds and ceiling fans. Wow. Great hosting by Katie too. Highly recommend.
Great place. Wonderful easy and clear communication. Cabin decor is dated but the cabin was very clean and well equipped. Loved the dog friendliness and the private beaches on property. The mattress/beds in our cabin were the best in our two-week trip. Would stay again if in the area.
